EUROPEAN PILOT TEST OF Erasmus+ Growing European Micro-enterprise project (GEM)
Throughout February and March 2021, 90 business coaches from across Europe are busy putting the Erasmus+ Growing European Micro-enterprise project (GEM) to the test as they commence pilot testing of the GEM Learning Portal with the launch of GEM’s 12 Learning Journeys spanning different aspects of coaching enterprises for growth.
Let’s see what is happening as we tour each of our partner countries…
UK
Exponential Training will be running its pilot test of the Growing European Micro-enterprise project (GEM). UK pilot testers will benefit from one-to-one support from an Exponential Performance Coach as they access and test the GEM Learning Portal and the 12 Learning Journeys on different aspects of coaching enterprises for growth. In addition to the Learning Journeys, participants will also be able to download and use a large number of practical coaching tools.
Most of the UK GEM participants will be experienced business coaches and consultants seeking to develop their skills further or to specialize in high growth business coaching. Other participants will include individuals probably from a management and leadership background looking to develop a career I business coaching and consultancy. Exponential will complete a series of mini case studies in which participants will share their thoughts and experience of completing the GEM course.
Spain
We have two Spanish partners, each of whom is undertaking pilot testing .
STPEUROPA will run its pilot test of the Erasmus+ Growing European Micro-enterprise project (GEM) on 30th March in collaboration with AECOP (Spanish Association of Professional Coaches). 15 business coaches and consultants will implement the training and go on to disseminate the GEM project resources within the Association. The pilot will be focus on two specific Learning Journeys, The High Growth Enterprise Coach and Leading and planning Growth, participants will also be able to download and use a large number of practical coaching tools. STPEUROPA will complete 2 mini case studies in which coaches will share its feedback and expertise of completing the GEM training materials.
Fundation CESTE started their GEM pilot testing on 8th of February. This phase will run from the begining of February to end of March (2021). Fifteen participants will register on the GEM learning portal to test and share their experences of two of the twelve learning journeys on different aspects of coaching for growth. This volunteer testers will also download and use a large number of practical coaching tools. Most of the Fundation CESTE GEM pilot testers are experienced business school teachers and trainers seeking to develop their skills further or to specialize in high growth business coaching. Other participants will include individuals from a management background looking to develop a career or experience in business coaching and consultancy. Fundation CESTE will also complete a series of mini case studies in which participants will share their thoughts and experience of completing the GEM course.
Netherlands
Our Dutch partner Sundaymorning@ekwc are testing the Erasmus+ Growing European Micro-enterprise project (GEM) learning journeys with 15 workshop consultants and individuals who want to further develop their skills or specialize in coaching and guiding creatives for business growth as artists, designers and architects. The testing will run from February to March 2021 and each participant will follow one or two learning journeys, on different aspects of coaching for growth. In addition to the learning paths, participants will also download and test a large number of practical coaching tools. As the other countries, Sundaymorning@ekwc will go through a series of mini case studies in which participants will share their views and experience of completing the GEM course.
Ireland
Momentum have commenced its pilot test of the Growing European Micro-enterprise project (GEM) with 15 Irish pilot testers, who in addition to benefitting from the 12 GEM Learning Journeys on different aspects of coaching enterprises for growth, they will have the advantage of one-to-one support from a Momentum mentor as they progress through the GEM Learning Portal and use GEM’s wealth of practical coaching tools to complement their own coaching practices.
The Irish GEM pilot testers span experienced business coaches and consultants to those that are new to the industry and are seeking to develop their skills further or to specialize in high growth business coaching. As the other GEM partners, Momentum will complete a series of mini case studies in which participants will share their experience of completing the GEM course.
Austria
Vienna Association of Education Volunteers is happy to announce that the Erasmus+ Growing European Micro-enterprise project (GEM) has entered the Pilot testing phase. We would like to invite all interested participants from Austria to join one of the GEM Webinars (on 1st or 15th of March). In the first section of the Webinar, all the necessary information regarding the online portal, which comprehends a set of 12 learning journeys on different aspects of coaching for growth, are going to be provided. Second, section is going to be more interactive, where the participants will be invited to test the portal and enhance their knowledge within the High Growth Enterprise Coaching Framework. The portal, an on-line, digital open education resource (OER) contains the model, tools, resources and learning modules that covers the all parts of the Framework.
