Introduction
Definitions of the concept of facilitation include “to make easy” and to “ease a process”. Facilitators plan, guide and manage groups of individuals to ensure that the group’s objectives are met effectively, with clear thinking, high levels of participation and full buy-in from everyone who is involved.
There are occasions when the High Growth Coach undertakes the role of a Facilitator. As a facilitator, the High Growth Coach is responsible for helping groups of people to define and understand their common objectives and to assist them to plan to achieve them without taking a position in the discussion.
Facilitators often use an array of tools and techniques to help the group to achieve a consensus on the root cause of problems and issues and potential solutions.
