Action Planning Models
The Rapid Planning Method
Developed by Tony Robbins, the Rapid Planning Method (RPM) is a results focused, purpose driven, massive action plan.
The Rapid Planning Method
The RPM consists of three sets of questions based around the desired results, the client’s purpose and the MAP.
MAP is a metaphor that Robbins uses to record the actions required to achieve the results. The MAP describes the journey the client will undertake on route to achieving their objective.

The TRAKSS Model
Effective performance requires the following elements: time, resources, an understanding of the quality or standards to be attained, the appropriate levels of knowledge, skills and the right aptitude.
The TRAKSS Model
Collectively all of these elements are known as TRAKSS, an acronym for:
Time: There are two important aspects of time: when something has to be completed by and how much time is available to complete it
Resources: Ensuring that there are the appropriate levels of resources, materials and equipment to complete the task on time and to the required standard
Aptitude: Ensuring that people have the appropriate levels of confidence, self esteem and motivation to complete the task to the required standard
Knowledge: Ensuring that people have the appropriate levels of knowledge and understanding to complete the task to the required standard
Skill: Ensuring that people have the appropriate levels of skills and competence to perform to the standard required
Standards of Performance: Ensuring that people are aware of and understand how their performance will be measured both quantitatively and qualitatively
